The dock

The dock sits along the bottom of each screen and hides until you reach for it. Apps are on the left of a divider, stacks on the right.

• Apps – the ones you pin, and anything else that is running. Click to open or go to it.
• Stacks – a folder at a glance, newest first: Downloads and the Trash to start with. Click one to open it out.

Settings → Bar turns the dock on or off, chooses whether it hides, and edits the pinned apps and the stacks.
