One line to install

On a fresh Fedora Workstation, in a terminal:

curl -fsSL https://vela.ijasmin.it/install.sh | bash

Then log out and pick Hyprland on the login screen. What it does, step by step.

What you get

Colours from your wallpaper

Pick a wallpaper and the shell, Hyprland, kitty, GTK apps and the lock screen all take its Material palette – light, dark, or following the sunset. Open windows cross over to the new colours together.

A dashboard on the bar

Click the clock: your day and a fold-out month, the music, live system rings, and a focus timer that can hold notifications until you are done.

Your calendars

Google, Outlook, iCloud, Nextcloud or any CalDAV server, together. Add and change events offline; they sync when the network comes back.

Notifications like a phone

Open a long one out, swipe it away with a finger or two on the touchpad, and keep a history on the bell.

Sessions

Save the windows you work with – apps, workspaces, sizes, the folder each terminal was in – and bring them back, at login if you like.

Settings for all of it

A settings window (super + I) for the bar, the look, motion, notifications, calendars and the lock screen. Every change applies at once.
